Printing an Appointment Outlook 2003

When printing out an appointment the printed form shows a dark line and the
words UNKNOWN above the line. Where does this come from and can I get rid of
it on the print out? Also Recurrence shows on the print out but not on the
screen showing that appointment. I am using outlook 2003.
Thanks

it should have your display name, not unknown. You can't get rid of it. Are
you using an exchange server acct or a pop/IMAP acct?

I do not know if I am using exchange server or pop/IMAP acct. I am new to
the office and Outlook. Where do you change your display name?

Are you a home user? If so, you're probably using POP, but YOU created the
account, so you must know what you chose. If you're using Outlook in a work
environment, you may be using Exchnage. Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next
and look at the type of account.

Depends on the account type.

Brian, Thanks for your response. I do not use email thru outlook only the
calendar. I did the tools, e-mail account, next and no type is selected. So
that may be why I have UNKNOWN at the top of each of my appointments.

I'd agree.
