Printing an image inserted in a form template

I've made a Word form which is saved as a template. The document has got the
company logo in the letter head or in the same position as the header. When
the users try to print their documents made from the template the logo is
broken. The first milimeters of the logo is printed but the rest is an
outlined blank (with a broken image "x").

The logo is either in gif or jpg format (neither works), 72 dpi, indexed/8
bits. The images are only 2-10 kb by themselves and the templates, or the
documents made from the templates, are never bigger than 47 kb.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions on how to solve the problem.

Does the logo work if it is inserted in a new empty document?

It maybe that the template is corrupt. Try creating a new test template and
putting the logo into the header. Does it work in the new document? If not,
please let us know which version of Word and OS you are using and what
updates are installed. Thanks.

: Yes, that's the annoying part. ;)

It did. I think that I have found the solution to my problem now but I'm
still waiting for a confirmation from the company I made the document for.

It seems as if the table I used to get the correct layout for my document
somehow got mixed up with the header. Even though I didn't insert the table
in the header the size of the header adapted to the height of my table (but I
could at the same time see that the table wasn't actually in the header due
to it being dimmed). This problem stopped when I changed the wrapping style
setting for the table from "around" to "none" (roughly translated from my
swedish version of the program :) ).

So... I think that my problem is solved but I don't really know why I got
this problem in the first place so if you have an explanation I would still
be interested to read it.

We are both using Word 2003 and I doubt that they have downloaded any
program updates.
