Printing an oversized table

I have a table that is appx 20" wide and 10 pages long. I need the format it so the output prints onto 8.5x11 sheets. File must be kept in Word for low-skill end users.
I am befuddled...

This would be far easier to manage in Excel, even for users with limited
skill.

Excel also has the distinct advantage of being able to replicate one or more
of the top rows as column headings and one or more of the left-most columns
as row titles across multiple printed pages.
