Printing anomaly

I created a series of events as in Entourage Calendar for a production schedule spanning several weeks and assigned different colours to them. There are from one to four events in a day covering a period of several days stretched out as coloured bars in the monthly view. On screen this looks fine, however come to printing and the layout changes - events overlap and some are missing altogether. I can provide visual samples of a printout and a screen capture.

In the end, after some hours of frustration and continuous failure to print what appears on the screen, I resorted to Excel to produce the production planner.

On screen this looks fine, however come to printing and the layout changes -

Entourage printing is not robust. Take a screenshot and print the
screenshot.
