Printing backgrounds to edge of paper

Using Word 2003, I inserted a textured background on the page. It prints but
there is a white border around the page. How do I get the background to print
right to the edge of the page?

You don't unless you have a printer that can print "full bleed." Most
printers have a finite (and in some cases quite generous) nonprintable area
on each side of the page.

You probably don't. Few printers will print to the edge of the paper.
