Printing Bar Code Labels

Hi, this might be off topic but hopefully someone can help me.

I am printing bar coded labels, from my access datebase which work
fines, the only issue I have is entering the information from the job
card relating to the label.

I want to scan a job card, from that labels print automatically. I can
acheive this but by entering the job no manually and pressing enter in
the under lying report query. I want to avoid this by being able to
scan the job card into a form, which then prints the labels
automatically then return to the form ready for the next scan, but not
sure how to do the form bit.
