Printing Contact Selector Form Information

Hello,

We are using the Contact Selector Control extensively throughout our
Infopath forms in MOSS and Project Server 2007.

When printing a form or exporting to PDF, the form prints fine except for
the information for the contact selector fields which is all blank.

Has anybody else ran across this and found a solution?

Hello,

There is quite a lot of information about the control here:

but nothing about printing unfortunately.

My guess is that because it is an ActiveX control it may have trouble
rendering in a PDF export or printer version. Does the print-preview have
the data displayed properly?

Thnks for your reply Gavin. I have read through that blog a few times.

Printing the infopath form works except for the data in the Contact Selector
which is blank. When I try a print preview both from the normal and from the
print view for the form, I consitently get this result:

Microsoft Office InfoPath has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience.

Have you tried creating your own print view.
Move the current values of the control into your own fields and then use
them in the readonly, print copy?
