Printing document from HP Scanner to HP Laserjet

I have just installed an HP Laserjet 4100 (Windows 2000 system). When
using the copy function from my HP Scanjet 4070 scanner, I get a
message on the scanner, "printer language not available". I obviously
need an updated driver for either the scanner or the printer or some
other piece of software. I have searched the web but can't come up with
anything. Can someone clue me in.
