Printing documents duplex

I need to format a word document to print duplex, back to front. I want to
set up the document to do this automatically when I print. I know I can print
duplex with my printer but can not figure out how to format a document to do
this. Please help!

You cannot "format" a document to print duplex. You must always command the
printer to do it. You can use the File > Print > Properties dialog (which is
supplied by the printer driver and is different for every make/model of
printer), or you can use macros as explained at
http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=116.

As Jay and JoAnn have pointed out, unfortunately the printer Properties
(even the printer itself) cannot be saved with a specific Word document (you
can save these settings in Publisher). But you can set up shortcuts to
specific printers (with specific properties) and assign them to toolbar
buttons. See http://www.gmayor.com/fax_from_word.htm. Note that you can have
more than one button for a specific printer (one set to duplex and the other
not, for example).
