Printing documents with tracked changes

L

Larry Lowe

When using Word 2004, if I print a document that has tracked changes and I
want to show those changes but NOT the balloons on the right side of the
page, Word will usually (but not always) print the document with wide right
side and bottom margins (as if to leave room for the balloons). The text, as
a result, is very small. This doesn't always happen - sometimes the 2nd or
3rd time I print a document, it will appear correctly. Sometimes changing
printers will make the document print correctly. But usually, I've had this
problem on 2 separate Macs, both running Word 2004.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I posted the following on another forum but it looks like you need it too:

I think I had the same problem as you have described. I "fixed" it by
following the instructions given at: http://support.microsoft.com/
default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;841489.

I hope this helps.

Ted,

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, following the Microsoft
instructions didn't fix the problem for me. If you (or anyone) has
other suggestions, they'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Larry
