Printing Draw object problem

I

Windows XP - Word 2000 - I set a custom size paper of 8.88 x 11.75, typed 7
letters of text, hit enter a few times, drew 1 oval with the oval drawing
tool, copied it, and pasted it 10 times for a total of 11 ovals . I then
drew 2 lines on one of the ovals. It shows exactly as drawn in print
preview. However when i go to print, it only prints half of one of the 7
letters and none of the other 6 that I typed and anywhere from 1/2 to about
1/8 of the ovals. They look like fingernails rather than ovals. It prints
in like partial columns of what is on the entire page. How do I remedy this?

As I wrote in my post - "It shows exactly as drawn in print preview." In
other words, if it printed the way it shows in print preview, it would be
perfect, and I would not have posted a question.

In that case it sounds like the printer/printer driver is at fault. Try the
same document with a different printer.

i already did that - took it to school where i teach - 2 different buildings-
printed perfect on both printers. Tech coordinator said we normaly use "PCL"
drivers and suggested finding another kind of driver other than "pcl" - one
that handles graphics? (all other documents print perfectly on my home
printer - the one i'm having this problem with)

I will put my, and my students', grammar and spelling against yours, and any
other students', any day. There is no need to apply it to this type of forum.
What is your point? If you don't have something to contribute to help the
cause then crawl back into the hole you came from you low life degenerate

Your error is: "There is no need to apply it to this type of forum." You may
find that the Word NGs uphold a higher standard of speech than some other
Usenet NGs. We're not much on "texting" shortcuts and sloppy capitalization.

Are you kidding me? Get real, and over your holier than thou attitudes.
After being a Math and Computer Science teacher for over 15 years, and
defending my decisions to have our district, and surrounding districts, to go
"PC", ("IBM Compatible" then), and use Windows OS, as opposed to
Apple/MacIntosh, you have stricken the final blow and now I will do all in my
power to switch to iMac. I argued for PC/Windows with the Graphics Arts
teachers using iMac, for years. After being given an iMac Powerbook a few
years ago, and gradually using and then relying on it more and more, it is
clear the the superior system is. Your error is your hypocritical, self
serving, distorted perception of a "higher standard of speech" that is "not
much on "texting" shortcuts" as is epitomized by the fact you use "NGs" in
your post. If you can't answer the question in my original post either don't
reply, or admit you don't know the answer. Heck, your first "Word NGs' "
question showed the post wasn't even read as the question was answered
directly in the original post.
Enough, I have to go grade students' work. If Microsoft upheld such a high
standard the billions of problems/posts relevant to it would not exist.
Are you part of the problem, or part of the solution?

I'm not clear where you're going with this; Microsoft makes Word for Macs,
too. And you can rail all you like, but we were just giving you fair warning
that if you don't make some attempt to use standard English when you post in
Word NGs, you *will* be mocked. You said it didn't matter; we were telling
you that, to some of us, it does. That doesn't mean you won't get an answer
if we can provide it.

In any case, if you really want help with printing, you might try posting in
microsoft.public.word.printingfonts instead of here.

I don't believe that the poor grammar and punctuation will be the cause of
your problem. Undoubtedly, it is the result of a poor written printer
driver. Is there an alternative driver available for the printer?
