CAN I E-MAIL A DOCUMENT CREATED IN MICROSOFT WORD TO A COMPUTER THAT IS NOT
A MAC? WILL THEY BE ABLE TO OPEN THE ATTACHMENT?
Yes, but only if you stop shouting! (i.e., turn off your cap lock).
WinOffice 97/00/02 and MacOffice98/01/v.X all use exactly the same
file format.
Couple of suggestions to make things more reliable:
Make sure you add the .doc extension to the file name.
Make sure your email application uses Apple Double or Windows
(MIME/Base64) encoding.
Sometimes emailing (especially to Windows recipients, for some
reason) munges the file - in that case Zip (compress) the file using
Aladdin's DropZip before sending.
