Printing envelopes from Word 2003 Pro

I can't print envelopes on an Epson Stylus Photo R800 from Word 2003 Pro.
All attempts result in the printer going to the "manual" setting rather than
"sheet feed" as required. The printer prints full sheets from Word 2003 Pro
just fine.
