Printing envelopes in word 07 using contacts in Outlook 07

Anthony

We use outlook and word 2007 on a domain running Server 2003 R2. Is there a
way to access all of the contacts in the the public folders from word to
print Envelopes? we have some of our contacts visible from the word envelope
interface; but not all of them. Unfontantly, the one we need are not visible.
Can some one tell me how to make them all so up in word So we can use the
addresses to print envelopes?

Set the properties of the 'invisible' contacts list(s) in Outlook to include
the option to 'show the folder as an e-mail address book'

Graham,
Thanks for the help,
we did that and it did not work right away, so we thought we were on the
wrong track. Do you need to close word and reopen? to get those to show up in
the envelope contacts list?

In the top right corner of the insert address dialog there is a window where
you can select which contacts list to use. Does this not show the range of
contacts lists?

I have a slightly different problem. When I go to Mailing, then click on the
Envelope icon, select the address book and the name I want to use as the
addressee, the program crashes. It gives me the message "Microsoft Word is
no longer working". I don't get to the point of printing so I don't see how
the printer would be a factor.

It has worked fine in the past. This is a recent problem. Outlook 2007 seems
to be working OK. I did uninstall the Business Contact part of my Outlook.
Would that have caused any of this?

Is there some setting or reinstall that would fix this problem?

I would suggest repairing office, ideally from the original installation
disc setup. Ensure that Outlook is then the default e-mail application for
Windows.

I found the answer and at a complete surprise. It was the fonts in envelope!

It had defaulted to +Headings (whatever that is) and I changed to a regular
font like Swis721 BT and it works fine now.

I don't know how the font was changed and why that would make a
difference...but it sure did. Now there's no problem it seems.
