Printing envelopes to a HPLJ 1200 in Word 2007

I am having problems with a LJ1200 printing non alpha numeric charactors with
Word 2007. These charactors are printed in the "mail to" and the "return
address" address areas of the envelope. We are not having any other issues
with the printer in any other application in Office 2007. Any body heard of
this before?
