Printing Envelopes Word 2007 from Outlook contacts

I recently upgraded to Vista and Word 2007 and had no trouble creating my
envelopes in Word using my Outlook contact list. A couple of weeks ago the
feature stopped working. I open Word, Click on Mailings, then Envelopes.
Then I pick my address from my Outlook contact list which comes up just fine.
When I select the contact and hit okay, Word 2007 shuts down. I thought
this was a file corruption of some sort, so I tried the same procedure on my
Notebook which is also running Vista and Word 2007. The same thing happened.
Does anybody know what is going on here?

As crazy as this sounds, I find that some update has broken this but ONLY
when Outlook is open. If you close Outlook, it works fine.

At least I know someone else is having the same problem! I tried your
solution, but in my case, it doesn't matter whether Outlook is open or not.
Word still shuts down. Any other ideas?

It seems some users are not seeing this at all. I'm looking into it further.
