printing error

I have been trying to print Microsoft Word documents, and
in almost every copy a block of text is missing. The
holes are in a different place every time, even with the
same document. I haven't noticed the problem when I print
other types of documents. I've checked the paper size,
type, and page setup but it's all normal. The printer is
aligned and configured property, and it has ink. HP says
it's an MS Word problem and not a printer problem.
What's going on?

Two things to try:

1. Delete and reinstall the printer driver for your HP printer in Start
| Control Panel | Printers. If this doesn't fix the problem, then...

2. Turn off background printing in Word (Tools | Options | Print |
uncheck the "Background printing" box), and turn off print spooling
and/or advanced text services in the printer driver (Start | Control
Panel | Printers | <right-click on your HP printer> | Properties | Advanced.
