Printing from Brother MFC-210c printer linked my computer on 1 to

I have just changed the black ink catridge and the printer started erroring
and not responding to anything I sent to it from the computer.

All connections have been checked and are ok? The Printer itself has a
window which remains the same.

However on the computer going through the control panel to locate the
printer icon and clicking on it, the job status shows 'error' to anything I
send to the printer. It changes from 'Ready' to 'Error' straight away. This
is the only printer I can afford and am connected to.

How do I get the printer to start recognizing the jobs again? Your help will
be most appreciated.

Make sure that you have the latest printer driver from the manufacturer's
support site, then delete and reinstall the printer.

Some printers, after a cartridge changes, need the cartridges to be aligned,
if this sequence is not done, nothing will happen.
This forum is specifically for MS Word, you may get better help on a forum
for Brother printers.
