printing from microsoft fax console

when I print a document received by the fax console it comes out unreadable. It it compress vertically, and may list multiple pages received but only one seems to be accessable. I use the fax software rarely, but I think it worked OK when I got the computer last fall. It is a Dell Demension 4600 w/ Windows XP home. I installed an update to Microsoft Office 2003. Could this be a factor
This is probably the wrong message board for this problem, but I don't see one that looks better.

Don't you?! Then you didn't think to look for Windows XP fax groups, then?!
