Printing from Powerpoint X

R

Roz McCarthy

I have been having erratic problems with printing Powerpoint handouts
on my Epson Color 880

Some pictures (jpg's) in the slides are rendered as messy
unintelligible blobs, the font size is inconsistent and unreadable and
the borders are about 12 points deep. They are totally unusable. When
I look at the slides in preview or save to .pdf I get blank pages.

I am able to print from Word and many other apps without difficulty.
Can anyone help? Please!!

Thanks

It's always a good idea to mention the version of PowerPoint you use and the
Mac OS version. I'm assuming OS X since you mention saving to PDF.

And with printer problems, it's smart to check the manufacturer's site for
driver updates.

Are the JPGs RGB? PPT can run into problems with CMYK ones.

What happens if you apply a different design to a copy of the presentation?
Can you then see the slide contents in preview/saved pdfs?
