Printing Grid Lines

I'm not sure what option I've turned on or haven't turned on, but when I go
to print my spreadsheet it won't print the gridlines. I've checked in
Format>Cells to make sure that they are on, in File>Page Setup>Sheet to make
sure the the Print Gridlines box is checked, I've searched help for any clue
to what I could be doing wrong (came up with nothing), tried previewing as a
PDF and they don't show up in the PDF, and updated all my software. I'm on
a Mac OSX and using a Lexmark Optra E312 printer (which I also updated).
Any ideas on what I could try next?

Hi Monica,

Sometimes Excel will scale things too small for your printer to deal with.
Check the Page Setup and see if the Page tab shows scaling at 100%. I
suspect it's adjusted to something considerably less than 100% so that you
can get everything onto a single page.

If that's the case. then select the range of cells you want to print and use
Format > Cells and add borders to the cells. If you make them thick enough,
when you go to print they won't scale to something invisible or unprintable.

Monica,
From the File menu, select Page Setup, then in the window that appears
select the Sheet tab. There should be a box to select for printing
gridlines. Select it, then click OK.
