Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When I print from word (weather it is a DOCX or DOC file) my page is empty, no Images or Text is printed.

Also when I save the Word Doc as a PDF Document, when opening the PDF Document, it is empty with no Images or Text...

Three key ingredients:

Make sure OS X is fully updated (10.5.7),
Make sure Office is fully updated (12.1.7), & equally important,
Check the mfr's site for updated printer driver software.

Run Disk Utility - Repair Disk Permissions after any updating & restart your
Mac. If you continue to have a problem reply with more specific details
about the document content & its formatting.

Keep in mind that no application, including Word, actually does the
printing. The program simply calls the service from the OS when you give the
command & hands the data off to be passed to the printer.

Recently envelops are not showing up in print preview or printing. They
appear on the screen as I type them but do not print. Using Microsoft Word
2004 for Mac Version 11.5.3 (081112). Operating system
Mac OS X version 10.4.11

For one thing you're an update behind ‹ currently 11.5.4 is the Office level
so I'd definitely suggest that be tended to.

Also, since printing is a service of the OS & your printer driver it would
be a good idea to check the mfr's site to see if your driver software needs
updating based on advancements in OS X.

I have updated my HP printer and Word:Mac 2004 is now at 11.5.5. The
problems are worst. Any envelope document does not appear in preview or
print and now the printer will not go on automatically.
How do I get my Word software to accept the data for an envelope?
Thanks
Gavin

Have a look in Word> Preferences> Print, make sure the box is checked for
Drawing Objects. [Envelope content is in Text Boxes which are Drawing
Objects, so if that checkbox is cleared the envelope will appear blank.

I have no idea what you mean by "the printer will not go on
automatically"... If that refers to some feature of your printer you'll have
to check your printer settings in the Print dialog or directly through the
driver software. Word has nothing to do with your printer's features.

Thank you CyberTaz! Checking for Drawing Objects solved my problem.
