Hi,
I would like to know if someone can print in 11x17 in with publisher
2003. I want to print on a Xerox Workcentre 7346 and when i launch the
print job, i've got an error on the xerox who tells me that the
parameters are wrong... Where in publisher 2003 can i adjust the
parameters because i don't have the File/Page layout menu...

Thanks

Can you print anything to that printer in Publisher?

What do you mean by "i don't have the File/Page layout menu"?

I can print 11x17 documents. Publisher can print to any size if one's printer
can handle the stock.

You should have a file, print. Do a detect and repair in the Publisher's Help
menu. A $15,000 printer should sing and dance. You might ask Xerox support too.http://www.support.xerox.com/go/prodselect.asp?Xlang=en_US&Xcntry=USA

Thanks for your responses.

Ive been looking to the "File/Page layout menu"'s way because i had
the same problem with Adobe Reader 8. My user wanted to print and
11x17 page, so she changed the settings on the printer options, but
not on the page layout who was still in 8x11. So the xerox printer
refused to print the task because of "wrong parameters". When i
corrected the page layout in Reader, it printed fine.

With that in mind, when the same error code occured with a publisher
document, i wanted to apply the same medecine. But i can't find the
way to do it. Maybe it's the Xerox printer fault so i'll contact their
support too.But if you have an idea it will be great.

Thanks again

If you haven't a page layout option in the File menu, see if changing the
default stock size to tabloid (11x17) in the Printer folder in the control panel
will work. Remember to set it back to Letter when you are finished with your
publication.
