Printing in A5

C

Carl

Greetings from Downunder
The items I need to print are similar to greeting cards -- A5 size in
landscape orientation 21 cm wide & 14.7 cm high, side fold -- giving me four
pages each 10.5 cm wide and 14.7 cm high. Creating this is no problem and
all appears perfect right up to "print preview', even appearing correct in
my printer's "print preview" screen. However, when I print, the contents of
each page have changed their orientation to "portrait", and are 90 degrees
out!
Would anyone out there have a cure for this?
Using XP Pro + SP 2, MS Office 2003 Pro, Epson Stylus C60
All help always appreciated

No doubt it is the printer driver. Are you setting up your printer first? You
have a pretty old printer model, the newest driver on the Epson web site is
2004.

Maybe a simple uninstall and reinstall will cure your problem.
It is advisable to completely remove your driver before installing/reinstalling
the new.

Hi Mary
Thank you for your prompt reply and for including the printer driver URL.
I did everything you said, and guess what? No change! Frustration is kicking
in now -- but I am sure there must be a reason.
Any more ideas will be gratefully received

Do you have the "Generic Color PS for Commercial printing" driver installed?

Install the Generic Color PS for Commercial Printing printer driver
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HP010464291033.aspx

Setup your publication with this driver and print. Do you have the same problem?
Send the file to me, I will print it and let you know if it is Publisher or the
printer.
