Printing in Publisher after a mail merge

I'm trying to print 4x6 postcards (2 postcards per page) and have a mail
merge. When I go to print the postcards, I get the error "Publisher cannot
merge with this number of pages. Some publications require a certain number
of pages in order to merge information--for example, labels must have only
one page, tent cards two, and greeting cards four. To merge information into
this publication, you must delete pages." What do I do? Thanks!!

Publisher is telling you to setup the merge with only one card on your screen.
Are your cards perforated (commercially bought) or are you separating them
yourself? It will make a difference in page setup.

In Page setup, Select Custom, type 6" width, 4" height
Click change copies per sheet

The margin setup is 1.25 side
1.5 top
zero gaps

Publisher will say it will print two per sheet

When you are ready to print, do a test on plain paper, there is a check off in
the print dialogue for this operation.

Are you certain you have one page (card) on your screen? Have you inserted a
page? What does print preview look like? What are you using as a data source?

When I look at it in print preview it shows two postcards on the page and
looks to be set up to print just how I want it to, but when I actually go to
print it gives me that error. I went to page setup again to make sure I had
it in custom 4x6, etc that you said be for and thats all correct. I did a
mail merge from an exel sheet has the addresses on it that I want to use, is
this the problem?
