Printing incorrect paper size

I have a large format ink jet printer. I can print up to size 13" by 19"
(Super B) paper. In many documents I create in Publisher 2003, even though
both Printer Setup and Page Setup show Super B 13"x19" paper, what prints
only fits in an 8.5"x11" area. When I return to the Page and Printer setup
it shows 8.5"x11" Letter. I have to keep changing the settings repeatedly
and saving in random order to get the document to finally print correctly.
There are not settings on the printer itself to dictate paper size. And
sometimes Publisher will print correctly, and other times not, even on the
same document. Any ideas?

Thanks Mary. The printer model is HP DeskJet 9650 and I am using Publisher
2003. I was thinking at one point that maybe when I'm printing 8.5x11 to one
of my other printers Windows was getting a little confused, but the same
results still happen when no other printing is taking place.

Just today, I pulled up a publication that I have already printed on 13x19.
I verified the paper choice in my printer setup (showed correct size) then
printed. Publisher switched back to 8.5x11 and printed incorrectly. I
changed the printer setup to what it just showed before and reprinted and it
worked fine. This issue seems very hit or miss.
