Printing Inserted Word Art on Page

When I insert word art on a blank page, it shows up but when I click
on preview it shows nothing. I cannot print the inserted graphic. I
have already checked the Help Menu and their suggestion does not work.
Can you help me?

what was the suggestion that didn't work?

In Word | Preferences | Print, make sure "drawing objects" is checked.
(You are using a Mac, right? if you aren't, do the same thing in Tools
| Options | Print.)

If that doesn't work, please state Word and OS version.
