I am trying to print an Access Report to a Zebra TLP 2844 Printer (Label
printer). I have been able to create the report in access and set the paper
size for 4 x 6. The report prints, however, I have the following problems:
1) The first time I turn the printer on and Print a report (label), the
report prints. However, rather than a 4x6 printout I get a 4 by approximately
24 1/2 inch printout and the printer turns to not ready. I have checked all
the settings and they are set for 4X6. Since the paper source (roll) is
continuous I would like to set up the report to print to the length required
by each labels information 4x2, 4x6, 4x8 etc.
2) When I press the printer button to get it ready to print again, I receive
a blank 4 by 24 1/2 and the printer goes back to a not ready status. I have
to turn off the printer and turn it back on before I can print another label
(report).
I have searched the topics to see if there is any information on working
with a printer like this, but have not had any success.
