Printing Labels

I'm using Windows ME with Office 2000. I have been trying to print some
labels with 9 lines, using bold type size 14, but when I use the
envelopes/labels wizard some of the lines print in size 12 and are not in
bold print. They show up as this in the Wizard before printing. Can anyone
help me with this problem please?

I'm not familiar with the wizards you mention -- but you can go to TOOLS -->
Envelopes & Labels. On the Labels tab, you can set up a sheet of labels in
the format you desire by first going to OPTIONS and selecting the
appropriate label -- then clicking NEW DOCUMENT.

(Did you purchase a specific label? It is easy to match Avery labels within
the dialog box -- but if you have a different manufacturer's labels -- just
watch for the same size label.)

NOTE: you can see the definition of each label if you go to TOOLS -->
OPTIONS --> VIEW --> TEXT BOUNDRIES (check this). The lines DO NOT PRINT
but the let you see the "frame" of each label.

I type the label in a new page using Times New Roman, size 14 and Bold. I
highlight it then go to Tools, Envelopes/Labels and what I typed appears in
the box, but some of the lines are not in bold or size 14

Instead, select the text in the Labels dialog, right-click, choose Font, and
format as needed. The default formatting for labels is the default Normal
font, and that's what you're getting for the text that you paste into the
default Label paragraph; text you paste with paragraph marks retains your
formatting.

Thanks for that Suzanne. It seems to work fine now
