printing labels

B

Bev

Hi all, kind of new at this, and lost, thus why I am here.
(using osx 10.2.8, word x for mac)
on a monthly basis I print labels for a non-profit, approx 400
newsletter labels. I had to purchase a new printer (hp-photosmart
7150) and since then cant seem to get them to line up right. The last
3 labels across the bottom is missing the city, state, zip.
Prior to new printer, I just clicked on the Avery 5260 and a way I
went!

I have tried:
"create new label" lets me input margins/pitch ect but wont accept
the "ok" button. the button is blue and kind of pulses like it is
waiting to be pushed, but when I do it just sits there. (if I could
this work for me, it would be a "case closed" hehe)
I have gone to the printer default to make sure my printer is listed
and not the "any printer"
I have tried all the various Avery mailing labels numbers/not working
I have checked the page set up, printer set up and everything seems to
be in order, but there is something off.
Any ideas?
Bev

Hi Bev:

You're lucky! I can't get my HP printer to connect to this Mac at all, and
I work for HP.

Let me check with our printer group and I will get back to you on this one.

I think you may have to remove and replace your printer driver because it is
specifying the wrong page paper size, but let me ask the experts...

Cheers

Hi Bev:

As I imagined, I didn't get a sensible answer. Remove your printer
entirely, and re-install it using the latest driver from the HP website.

I *hope* that will help, but I do not have much confidence...

Cheers
