Printing lists of document names

C

Carole

Does anybody know how I can print a selection of docuement
names from one of my Word folders?

I have tried highlighting the selection of files and
copying and pasting them into a document but I then get a
print of the contents of the documents when all I want is
their names.

I am using Word 2002

One way is to press [Alt]+[Print Screen]. This places a
picture of the creen on your clipborad so that you can
past it into any application. I don't know of any other
way. Hope this helps.

easiest way is to use the "dir" command from a command prompt box. pipe
the output to a file, then insert that file into word, e.g.

dir > filelist.txt

then open this file in Word, and copy/paste to where you want it to go.
