printing logo I only get a black box

I have created a document in Word 2003 with two logos both in .jpg format.

When I print in colour only the second logo will be printed and the first
logo only prints a black box. I checked in powerpoint if the logo is corrupt
but it prints fine in grayscale but again not in colour. The grayscale does
not work in Word either.

What else can I do to get the log printed in colour?!

Any ideas?

In the meantime I found a way to fix this problem. I opened the logo in
Paintbrush and saved it as .jpg under a new name.
