Printing Multi-Section Documents Word 2004

M

Marc Loudon

When I have a document in two sections, and the pages of the second
section have been renumbered so that Section 2 begins with Page 1,
any Print operation (including Print to PDF) that is supposed to print
only pages from section 2 produces a blank page. If the pages in the
second section are numbered consecutively, this problem does not
occur. Example: A document has 10 pages. Section 2 begins on page 6,
and has been given new page numbers starting with one. When I try to
print pp. 7-8 (which is the same as pp. 2-3, Sec. 2), I get a single
blank page.

Actually, that isn't how you print multi-section documents. You have to
enter the section and the page numbers. I always forget the details, so
check in Help, the topic should be something like "print a range of
pages"--something like p2s2-p3s2 is what you need to enter, I think.
