printing on 4.25 x 5.5 cardstock

I can't seem to figure out how to print out my invitation inserts on
the already cut 4.25 x 5.5 paper on the laser printer we have
available. The printer keeps saying the paper jams because it is too
small. I tried changing the paper settings to the correct size but the
computer says the size is "inconsistent" and the manual setting of the
printer doesn't work either.

I don' tknow what to do! HELP!

If the printer can't handle paper this size, then you can't print on it,
it's that simple.
