printing on paper roll

Tony Preston

How do I print on a roll? I have a custom paper of 180cm x 30cm. If I use
Page setup > page type > custom and set page size to the same, it changes
setting to banner, which is not correct. If I switch back to full page, then
size limit of 124cm is shown.

You need to make sure that both Publisher and your printer are set to the
same paper stock size.

Thanks for help, but I've tried that. I have created a paper size 180cm x
30.5cm and have used this successfully in Paintshop and Photoshop. I set
this as the paper size, and then try to set the page size to match using
Custom. Pub accepts size but insists on changing layout to banner with a
maximum length of 124 cm. Print preview confirms. Largest page size for "full
page" is 124cm length.

This issue is addressed with HP Design Jets in Publisher 2002.

There is an article concerning PowerPoint and your particular printer. It advises
selecting imperial measurements rather than metric... (something to try)
PPT2001: Footer Text Not Printed on Handouts, Outlines, or Notes with A4 Paper Size
Setting Selected

Sorry not to be more help.
