Printing out Brochure Templates for Word Publishing Layout

I am creating brochures using the templates from the WORD PUBLISHING LAYOUT provided in the 2008 Office Products. When I go to print preview or print the actual brochure, the first column falls outside the template box that is to the right every time...even if I open up a blank template and press print, the border (grey) of the template is cutoff in print..ARGGGGHHH! HELP PLEASE...
