printing page 1!

Hi,
My Epson EPL-5700L laser printer has developed a bizarre habit of not
printing page 1 of documents sent from Word 10.1 (.4?) and OS10.2.4
even though I've been using the exact same setup fine for ages. It
prints the rest fine and can be persuaded -- through a mixture of
turning on and off, stopping and starting the print queue etc. -- to
print page 1, too; but often it just "forgets". I haven't noticed any
problem with other applications but then I rarely print from other
applications. And I don't have another printer I can try. Any
ideas/suggestions? This is a weird one, I know...

Hi Elliott,
Thanks for your post. Yes, PDF is no problem (so this is a reliable
way of printing). The problem is not limited to any particular
document(s), nor is there a section break, nor even is it consistent
(try once and it may not work; try again and it will). The first
couple of times I assumed it was a blip or I'd screwed something it,
but now it's regularly irregular, if you see what I mean.

That's the worst possible answer innit? Neither Word nor your printer
alone. An unholy collaboration between Epson and Microsoft.

Why am I not amazed?
