Printing PP Notes Pages

When using either PP 2000, or XP, I am having a problem
printing some of the pages in notes view. When you look in
any other view both the slide and notes appear, but when I
do a print preview or print in notes view I get only the
notes and no picture (slide)? Now to add to the confusion,
this does not happen on all the slides, some print fine
with both the slide and notes, but some do not. Any ideas
for me? It sees and printes the slides when I print or
preview in handout or slide mode.
