printing problem in network diagram

While plotting a network diagram on an HP 1050c designjet plotter, it
randomly "blacks" out tasks. This does not show in print preview.

As it doesn't show in print preview, then it most likely a printer driver
problem. Try searching the HP.com site for an updated driver.

This kind of behavior is usually a printer driver. Go to the HP site,
download a new driver and install it, 90% chance this problem goes
away. If you've never installed a new driver, the HP site will give
detailed explanations of how to do it. There is usually a detailed set
of instructions in an accompanying readme file in the download.
