Printing problem with Brother 8460 MFC

Since installing Word 2003, every time I request a document to print, the
printer Alarm light comes on and I have to put paper into the MP tray even
though the paper tray default selection is Tray #1 then MP. Printing from
other apps (Excell, Acrobat, Notepad, etc. works fine). I have tried
re-installing the printer (a Brother MFC 8460, but this did not fix the
problem. The printer is connected to to a Linksys HUB and my laptop is also
connected to the same HUB ... both cable connections. This is driving me nuts!

Thanks for you assistance.

Talk to Brother about this - it is not Office related. YOu probably need to
select the default feeder tray. Brother would know.

OK ... I did some more troubleshooting and this is what I found:

I have two user accounts on my laptop. My MS Word printing problem (output
going to MP tray regardless of default tray setting) exists in one account
and not the other. No printing problem from any other app in the
"problematic" user account. Both user accounts are ADMIN priveledged.

I completely uninstalled Office and re-installed it after rebooting the
laptop.

I can't see how this could be a Brother problem ... but maybe you can
explain to me how it is if you believe otherwise.

HELP!
