printing problem

I have a problem when i try to print from an office program word. power
point, ect, to a printer on another computer. I have a home network and
it is working ok. the problem is that when i go to print and chose "find
printer" I get an error saying "Directory Service is currently
unavailable"

What is this about and how do I solve it?
