printing problem

A

and

In Word XP, when printing a page sized table, a (background) image is
printed through the text, but this image is not visible in the document,
no matter what view is selected.

The image (a familiar one, that I added myself to this document long
ago) that is printed trhough the text is a vertical stripe Text box)
containing text from top to bottom.

I have tried copying the entire table to a new document, and printed the
table from there, but the image was still printed along with the table.

Is there a way to make all elements of a document visible? Do I need to
do this with VBA.

TIA,

ANDy

Does the image show up when you select print preview ?
My guess is that if you are not seeing the background in
any of Word's views, it could be the printer driver
adding a watermark.

Also check your header and footer, as any background is
usually placed in there.

Good luck,

Sorry, also meant to add.. ensure that you
select "Show/Hide" to display hidden characters.
