Printing problem

I am operating Mac OS 10.2.8 on a G4 powerbook with Excel
X for Mac (part of Office X) I have tried to print both to
an Epson color 760, and an HP 935 connected directly. I can
never get any Excel workbooks to print even though I have
no problem with Word or Powerpoint. The print dialogue
comes up, the spooling bar appears but nothing reaches the
print center. Any ideas?

I have just found that when I go to print preview, the page
is blank. Does this mean I have a defective Excel?

Have you updated XL with the 10.1.2, 10.1.4 and 10.1.5 updaters found at

MacTopia Downloads
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx

Early versions of XLv.X had this problem unless you changed the Print
quality in the print dialog (to high, I believe).

Other potential problems:

Have you set the print area to a blank region?

Is your print driver up to date?

Does changing fonts make a difference?

How do I get a more recent version of XLv.X? I have tried
to find updates on the Microsoft webpage but could find none.
