Printing Problem

I'm trying to print my Holiday Cards (I know...there a bit late this
year). Here's my problem. I'm using a custom enevlope (5" x 4"). I
created this custom paper size in "Page setup", Orientation is
Portrait. In the "page setup summary" it reads: Microsoft word>
custom paper size: none , custom paper feed: center, face up.

Everything looks groovy, centered, just where I want it in "page layout
view" and in "print preview". BUT when I print (HP laserjet 3330) the
text block misses the 5x4 enevlope. If I print a 8.5" x 11" sheet,
the text is located in the lower left corner (if this left corner were
the 5x4 enevlope... it would be formated right). The HP 3330 feeds
small sheets in the center of the "tray".

Anyone know what I doing wrong..... I pulling my hair out here.

I'm using Word v.X , OS 10.3.9 (and OS 10.2.8) same story both
computers.

Thanks
Marco

Printers rarely work with "strange" paper sizes - you usually have to
stick to the normal ones defined by the printer's driver software (A4,
A5, US Letter, etc.).

As a work-around I'd simply pretend you're using US Letter (8.5 x 11)
sized paper and put the envelopes in the corner. They should then print
correctly although you'll have to keep a watch on them so that they go
in straight.
