Printing problems with HP L7680

Does anyone have a work around or a solution for printing problems with HP
Officejet Pro L7680? I cannot print more than 13 copies of anything, the
14th will come out half printed or completely blank. I've contacted HP and
they've assure me that it's a problem with Microsoft Word 2007. The program
and printer will both hang and I am totally unable to continue working while
the printer is printing.

The driver?
There is a driver upgrade on the HP site with a June 2007 timestamp. Could be
newer than the one you are using.

What happens if you designate 13 copies more than one time?

That's the driver that I have already. Windows Update has an update
available but i can't download and install it--error message tells me that
it's older than the one i have but I'm wondering if it might work better.

I never can print more than 12 copies, the 13th is either blank or only
partially printed--every time.

You could always uninstall the driver and roll back to an older one. It is
always best to completely uninstall before you install/reinstall.

When you print, type 12 in the box, go back, hit print again and type 12 in the
box again (or whatever number) Does that work?

I've already done that, uninstall and reinstall, there's no older driver to
roll back to, the printer is new. When I try to repeat the print job with
another 12 copies, the printer clears it out. I have been able to determine
that it's not the printer, it's a software glitch in Word 2007. I'm waiting
for a fix on that. There was an update but i can't install it because the
driver i alrady have on the system is newer than the update. I tried to
unistall the driver I have and install the update, didn't work.

I am more acquainted with Publisher than Word, I have had a myriad of problems
with the Publisher 2007 printer interface. I hope you get your issue fixed.

YOU PROBABLY THOUGHT OF THIS ALREADY BUT IF I WERE YOU ID DO ONLY TEN AT A
TIME AND FINISH IT LATER I HAVE HP TOO AND I CANT PRINT SMALL TEXT

I have the same problem with Photo Suite and Camedia Master, If I send 3 copies to the printer it only does 2 1/2 pages and a blanc page and this after a long wait. I talked with HP (my printer is only 1 week older and it replaced a HP 7410)and I have waited so far for one week for a solution since they said that this was send to the engineering dept. I reinstalled my 7410 back and have no problem (the 7410 is almost the same printer as this 7680) so I think the problem is their software or printer firmware. They made me reformat my HD and reinstall windows an everything else. The problem was stil there. They sent a new printer and guess what? (you are right)the problem is still there. Now let's wait for their answer.
