Printing protected Form in Word Mac 2008 & Office Documentation

I received a form to be filled; filling the form is no a problem.

I can see on the screen AND in preview mode the full form and its filled
content.

However, as soon as I want to print it I just get the template form with
statements as {FORMTEXT} statements and so on....

Saving or printing as .pdf is he same !!!!

Unfortunately, I have lost my original CD (assume that the documentation
was in there) I just have my tiny yellow box with its barcodes and my
invoice...... Is there a .pdf doc set of office 2008 avail somewhere ? I'm
lost and there is nothing related in the OnLine help.

First of all be certain that you have Office & OS X as well as your _printer
driver_ fully updated. [For future reference it is always a good idea to
state that info in your initial message.]

Don't panic I doubt there is anything wrong with your Office
installation or its support files other than the updating mentioned above,
especially if you're having the problem with just this one document. I
believe that the 'form' was just distributed carelessly.

As long as everything is up-to-date, go to Word> Preferences> Print to see
if either of the boxes are checked for 'Field Codes' or 'Hidden text' -- if
so, clear those checks. Should that prove to not be the problem you'll need
to provide a bit more information about this 'form' document. Reply here if
this doesn't correct the situation.
