Printing Relationship Diagrams

I would like to print relationship diagrams - but there doesn't seem to be an
option to do this.

I appreciate that it will generate 1 sheet per relationship but it would be
a useful checking tool

Anybody got any ideas ??

Sorry, the Relationship diagram is one of the Project views which can't be
printed.
But you could use the "Network diagram" whose the logic is not so far ....

Hi David,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

You could use a screen capture program like SnagIt and paste the
relationship into something like Word - you could get several on a single
page.

Hi Gerard

do you happen to know offhand which other views can't be printed - i'm
always being asked the question and i've not managed to uncover the answer
yet (and no, i don't want to go through all the views and try!)

Thanks for reply - we use Hypersnap to do this but only really practical for
small projects - we typically have 300+ tasks so pretty time consuming

Do you think Microsoft take into account such feedback when next release
comes out - it seems that there are a lot of useful features that could be
implemented that many competent & experienced practitioners are crying out
for.

Even the network diagram view is limited as connections merge together like
train tracks and you can't see what relates to what - ideally you want a
circuit board look where no lines cross - even then you'd need paper/screen
the size of a billboard to be legible

Back to the drawing board ?

- Resource Form
- Resource Name Form
- Task Form
- Task Details Form
- Task Name Form
