Printing sizing inconsistency

H

Hall

My project has 50 lines and 12 displayed columns. In my Gantt view, I moved
out the Gantt chart off the screen so it doesn't get included in printing.

If I specify to print 1 page wide and 2 pages tall in landscape, the columns
appear in only the left half of each page and with tiny fonts.

If I just change to 2 pages wide, the printing still stays within 1 page
wide (so still just 2 pages total) but the columns spread over the full
width of the pages and with much bigger (and more readable) fonts.

That seems inconsistent in the scaling of the content to resultant printed
pages. Any suggestions? I don't really want 2 pages wide but I do want the
spreading over width and the bigger fonts!

Hi Hall,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

What does it do if you don't use scaling? I would be tempted to change the
font size in the Table first. Trial and error is the only practical way to
get exactly what you want. Experiment a little. If this is something you
will be doing frequently, record a macro to change the fonts, print, and
then change the fonts back again.

(An alternative to sliding the divider across is to made a copy of the Task
Sheet view and then show the columns you want.)

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :))
