When I print my Gant chart, I have specific fields enabled on the left
hand side, but when i print the ID field of the task always shows up
even though it is not on the screen view. Is there a way to disable
this field when I print it?

Thanks.

Derek,
What do you mean when you say "enabled"? Print preview and Print will
show whatever fields are shown as columns in the active view, unless you
have limited the number of columns to a lesser number via Page
Setup/View Tab.

If you do not want the ID field shown in the active view, go to
View/Table/More Tables and edit the highlighted table. Remove the ID
field as an entry in the view table. You might also want to uncheck the
"Lock first column" option at the bottom of the Table Definition window.

View/Tables/More Tables....
Select the table that is presently applied and edit it.
Delete the Task ID row.
The Task numbering disappears from the left side.

You can re-insert the ID any time by following a similar procedure

IMHO, I'd always show it.

You can also use a screen capture program such as Microsoft One Note or
Snag-it to grab just what you want to see --- one screen at a time.

Thanks Jim, that is exactly what I wanted. I just want to have the WBS
listed, not the ID.

Thanks for the quick help!

Thanks Derek -- John deserves the credit he was first in line; he types
faster that I do. It appears I was answering the same time he was.
Sometimes it takes the screen a little bit to refresh, even if I do check it
just prior to my posts.
