Hello,
When trying to print to a HP network printer from any Windows XP
program, sometimes that program quits with an error report to
Microsoft, that says that the HP driver hpzpm312.dll is the problem.
Still in 2007 this pb is not solved by HP (very poor technical support
BTW - worldwide gas factory, but inefficient...).
Any program that attempts to print to the remote HP printer makes a
Windows XP error:
hpzpm312.dll (version 2.335.5.0, offset 46083)
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any update of this driver on HP
technical support site, and the HP support never answer directly the
question.
"Update your BIOS" they say ;-) (my computer is brand new)
Happily, I found a solution :
---------------
If I switch off and on the printer (and print server), it works.
--------------
If I switch on my computer **after** the print server, even if my
printer is installed locally (of course, if I print to it, it cannot
find it), the problem is here:
//PS/HP_1610 (Windows network name of my printer) makes that error.
